Swindler
Ihr seid Beutelschneiderinnen und Beutelschneider. Da ihr im viktorianischen London agiert, nennen sie euch hier Swindler. Reiche Säcke bevölkern die Stadt – aber ihr gehört nicht zu ihnen. Meist nehmen sie nicht einmal Notiz von euch. Diese Ignoranz gilt es zu nutzen! Zumindest so lange, bis ihr die reichsten Swindler Londons seid. Hierzu müsst ihr den Säcken ans Eingemachte. Es gilt, sie um ihren Schmuck, ihr Geld und ihre Haustürschlüssel zu erleichtern … Sie werden das alles schon nicht vermissen. Doch gebt acht: Manch feine Schnösel sind aufmerksamer, als es euch lieb ist. Eine falsche Bewegung und die ganze schöne Beute ist futsch! Oder hat euch ein Komplize der anderen Swindler angeschmiert? Die gönnen euch nämlich nicht den Dreck unter ihren Fingernägeln und werden alles tun, um euch in die Suppe zu spucken. Seid ihnen also immer eine Nasenspitze voraus und scheut euch nicht, selbst zu schmutzigen Tricks zu greifen. Mit ehrlicher Arbeit ist noch niemand reich geworden …
Swindler
You are bag cutters. Since you operate in Victorian London, they call you swindlers here. Rich swindlers populate the city – but you are not one of them. Most of the time they don’t even notice you. You have to take advantage of this ignorance! At least until you become the richest swindlers in London. To do this, you have to get to the bottom of the sacks. You have to relieve them of their jewelry, their money and their front door keys … They won’t miss all that. But be careful: some of the fine snobs are more attentive than you would like them to be. One wrong move and the whole nice booty is gone! Or has an accomplice of the other swindlers smeared you? They don’t begrudge you the dirt under their fingernails and will do anything to spit in your soup. So always stay one step ahead of them and don’t be afraid to use dirty tricks yourself. Honest work never made anyone rich…
